Well, here it is October 3rd. There are just a few things to finish up before we move in. The floor tiles are in, as well as the master bathroom tiles. The lighting is all in. The granite countertops were installed on September 30th. They are beautiful. I am so looking forward to this final move! The plumbing fixtures need to be installed, the carpet, and the hardwood floors. Yes, I WILL have my wood floors! It's been quite a journey...one I hope not to repeat. I've given notice to the landlord, so whether the house is done or not, we will be moved by the 22nd of October. Wish us luck!

And finally, my kitchen. I was so worried that it was going to be way small, but I think it is going to work out just fine. I love the granite countertop. The pictures don't do it justice.

The granite is called Paradisio Dark.

The cabinets are red birch. They're going to put a distorted glass in the upper doors.

The wood floors will be going in next. We'll be moving in as each room is completed.
